Robi Walters is an artist leading the new wave of British creative talent as recognised in the Daily Telegraph’s campaign profiling the 15 top creatives in the UK and in which Robi won in the ‘Arts and Culture’ section.
Robi is represented in London and New York by Waterhouse & Dodd and by Maddox Gallery in Mayfair with work selling widely in the US and Europe from captains of industry to BAFTA-winning acting talent.
Sir Paul McCartney endorsed one of Robi’s signature record pieces that was sold at Christies, U2 also signed a piece, Thandie Newton is a collector and music mogul Russell Simmons picked out one of Robi’s pictures to illustrate the very best of the prestigious Art Hamptons art fair. Robi has Also sold to Michael Bublé, Brian Adams, Stellan Skarsgard, Judge Rinder, Sid Owen and collaborated with Mary J Blige.
Robi has a commitment to working with and encouraging kids from difficult backgrounds. He has been working with Furness Primary School in NW10, creating workshops and day trips to galleries and exhibitions throughout London. He is in the process of registering a foundation that will be able to do more outreach with minority and youth groups.
Robi had a solo show in March at the Hospital Club that included a panel discussion on mental health and creativity. He had a show with Chris Moon at Maddox Gallery in Mayfair in October and is preparing for a show in L.A. at Stephen Webster’s flagship store next summer.
